Either way, there is no keying in for you. Put a document in the app and it is read and booked automatically; send it to your accountant instead and it arrives the same way. Your accountant checks what came out of it and answers for the result.

Form 100, when it is simple
Your household income tax return is included as long as it is a straightforward one: your self-employed income, one salary beside it, and the ordinary family deductions. Rental income, income from investments, or anything that needs a schedule of its own is quoted separately — and you hear that number on the call, not afterwards.
Last year, if it needs closing
Whatever is still open from before you joined, your accountant can take on. How much work that is depends on the state it is in, so it is quoted once we have looked rather than assumed — but you will not be left holding a backlog nobody will touch.
Deadlines watched for you
You hear about a filing before it is due, not after. Nothing on this list is something you have to remember.

Rental or investment income on your Form 100, and any work on periods before your Care subscription, are quoted on their own. Whatever is needed, you will hear the number on the call, not afterwards.

Who exactly does my bookkeeping?
A registered accountant we work with, under an engagement letter in your name. The same person through the year, working inside the app you can see.
I already have a fiduciaire. How do I move?
On the call we go through what to ask them for — usually your ledgers, your closing balances and last year's filings, though it depends on how they kept them. We collect the documents, agree what still needs closing and what that would cost, and take over from there. You do not have to time it to a year end.
Am I still responsible for my taxes?
Legally, yes — a declaration is always the taxpayer's. What changes is who does the work and who answers for it: your accountant prepares, signs and files it, and when the administration writes back, you are not reading it alone.
What about the years before I joined?
Care covers the periods inside your subscription. Anything before it — last year included — we can take on, and it is quoted separately once we have seen the state it is in. You hear that price on the call.
Is my Form 100 included?
A straightforward one is: your self-employed income, one salary beside it, and the ordinary family deductions, prepared and filed with everything else. If there is rental income or income from investments as well, that part is quoted on its own and you hear the price on the call.
What if I don't want an accountant?
Then you do not need Care. Smart is the same app without the person: you forward or enter your own documents, Lisa prepares your VAT return and Forms 152 and 110, and you review and file them yourself. Do I have to use the app?
No. You can forward documents by email and never open it. The app is there for the days you want to know where you stand.
What language do you work in?
Your accountant works with you in English, and the call is in English too. The forms and the correspondence with the administration are in French or German, and that part is ours — you never have to read them.
What happens after 12 months?
Care runs for 12 months from signing, then continues month to month until you stop it. Stop it and you drop to the free plan, with every record intact.
Are my documents used to train AI?
No. Your documents are yours and are not used to train models. The details are in our AI Use Notice and Privacy Policy. Read the notice.
Not ready for a person yet?
Smart is the same app, from €14.99 a month, and the filing stays with you. Whatever you enter now is still there the day you would rather it was not.
